The workshop in Litomyšl was very interesting. After the project presentation, a discussion started about the economic impact of tourism and its significance for residents, effect on employment, and business. The discussion again confirmed the issue of lack of data and also showed how a subjective perspective can change the perceived picture of the situation. The economic data unfortunately at the local levels are mostly not available and in the case of smaller sites, the information is impossible to obtain without primary research and estimates.
